Mario Garcia, was born in Bloomington, Indiana on May 23, 1973. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1999. Mario is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mario graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. He studied law at Indiana University School of Law –Indianapolis, where he graduated in 1999. Mario is a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
While in law school, Mario was awarded the Cole J. Holder Scholarship and F. Emerson Boyd Scholarship. He was also awarded the Order of the Barristers, and participated in Hispanic Law Society. Mario currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis Alumni Association, is the President of the Board of Directors for The Hispanic Center, Inc., and is a Trustee for The Orchard School. Mario has also worked as a volunteer for the NCAA Final Four Host Committee and the World Police and Fire Games.
